Rainbow Reef

Rainbow Reef is a popular dive site located in Aqaba Park,  Jordan. The Red Sea is known for its rich biodiversity and stunning underwater landscapes, and Rainbow Reef is no exception.

Rainbow Reef is situated in the southern part of the Aqaba Marine Park, it is characterized by a vibrant and diverse coral ecosystem. The site is famous for its colorful coral formations, including hard and soft corals, which create an enchanting underwater environment. Divers can expect to encounter a variety of coral species, including brain corals, mushroom corals, and more. The reef is teeming with a diverse array of marine life, including anemones, sponges, and a variety of fish species. Divers can spot a range of tropical fish, such as butterflyfish, angelfish, parrotfish, and wrasses, among others. Larger marine creatures like turtles, rays, and even occasional reef smaller sharks can also be encountered.

Rainbow Reef is suitable for divers of various experience levels, from beginners to more advanced divers. The site offers relatively shallow depths, making it an excellent location for introductory dives. However, it also has some deeper areas and walls that can appeal to more experienced divers.

The waters at Rainbow Reef are known for their exceptional visibility, often exceeding 20 meters (65 feet) or more, which allows for excellent viewing of the diverse marine life and stunning coral formations. Water temperatures are generally warm, ranging from 22c to 28c, depending on the season.
