Before starting your Divemaster training, you must meet PADI's certification prerequisites.
- Be at least 18 years old
- Hold a Advanced Open Water Diver certification or qualifying equivalent
- Hold a Rescue Diver certification or qualifying equivalent
- Have at least 40 logged dives to begin the training
- Have current CPR and First Aid training
- Have appropriate medical clearance for scuba diving
